Grand Theft Auto V is heading out the Game Pass door on April 15, ending a 12-month run on Microsoft’s subscription service. Both the Enhanced Edition for Xbox Series X|S and the Legacy Edition for Xbox One are being pulled, so if you’ve been meaning to revisit Los Santos or wrap up some GTA Online heists, the clock is ticking.
GTA V first joined Game Pass on April 15, 2025, and its departure is right on schedule with the typical licensing window. The game remains one of the best-selling entertainment products of all time, so Rockstar likely has little trouble selling it at full price outside of a subscription.
The Full Departure List
Four other titles are leaving alongside GTA V on the same date:
- Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes — The spiritual successor to Suikoden that launched to solid reviews last year
- Terra Invicta — A grand strategy game about responding to an alien invasion
- My Little Pony: A Zephyr Heights Mystery — A family-friendly adventure title
- Ashen — The cooperative souls-like from A44 Games
All five titles will carry at least a 20% discount for Game Pass subscribers until they leave on April 15, with some deeper cuts available through the Xbox Spring Sale 2026. If any of these have been sitting in your backlog, now’s the time to either play through them or buy them outright at a discount.
On the bright side, Game Pass continues to add strong titles this month, including Hades II on day one through Game Pass when it launches on April 14.
