Sony has revealed the PlayStation Plus monthly games lineup for April 2026, and it's a solid mix of genres for subscribers. Available from April 7th through May 4th, this month's offering includes a punishing soulslike, an anime action RPG, and a remastered classic trilogy.

Leading the pack is Lords of the Fallen, the soulslike action RPG from CI Games and HEXWORKS that launched in late 2023. Set in a dark fantasy world split between the realms of the living and the dead, the game's dual-world mechanic gives it a unique identity within the crowded Souls-like space. Post-launch patches have significantly improved the experience since its rocky debut, and PS Plus subscribers are getting the definitive version.

Next up is Sword Art Online: Fractured Daydream, which brings Bandai Namco's long-running anime RPG franchise into a cross-era adventure that pulls characters from across the entire SAO timeline. Up to 20 players can team up in cooperative battles, making it one of the more ambitious entries in the series.

Rounding out the trio is Tomb Raider 1-3 Remastered, Aspyr's excellent collection that brings Lara Croft's original PlayStation adventures into the modern era with updated visuals, remastered controls, and the option to toggle between classic and modern graphics on the fly. It's a fantastic nostalgia trip and a reminder of why Tomb Raider became a cultural phenomenon in the first place.

Meanwhile, the shadow hanging over this month's announcement is Sony's impending price increase for PS5 hardware. The standard PS5, PS5 Pro, and PlayStation Portal are all seeing significant price hikes this month across multiple regions — a move that's drawn considerable criticism from the community. The PS Plus lineup, at least, offers some consolation.

All three titles will be available to Essential, Extra, and Premium tier subscribers starting April 7th.
